Pepino HCG One-Step Cassette Pregnancy Test – a test for early pregnancy detection.
How does the Pepino cassette test work? Once the fertilized egg implants in the uterus, the cells that will eventually form the placenta begin to secrete the hormone HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) into the blood and urine. The pregnancy test detects the presence of the HCG hormone using the latest technologies – through specific antibodies linked to colloidal gold particles. The reliability of this method is > 99%. The Pepino cassette pregnancy test allows for detecting pregnancy at a very early stage, approximately two days after the egg implants in the uterus.
Reliability: When the test is conducted according to the instructions, its accuracy is very high, similar to urine sample pregnancy tests performed in professional laboratories. Laboratory studies conducted on urine samples from pregnant women have demonstrated an accuracy of over 99%. Most medications do not affect the test, but like all pregnancy tests, injections of chorionic gonadotropin administered during certain infertility treatments, and medications containing the HCG hormone, can lead to false positive results.
